Cheri Britton has been described as the “Woman with A Lot to Say.” As a professional speaker, trainer, coach, and writer she strives to uplift and empower the busy professional woman.

One of her mottos is “Say yes to the mess!” She’s tired of watching too many women struggle to do it ALL. She embraces a more realistic version of the modern woman; a version that balances work and family. Her own challenges with this balance has strengthened her commitment to helping other women regain their sense of appreciation for their lives and understand the importance of mindfulness in afternoon traffic, the beauty of organized chaos, and living passionately even when the dishes are dirty.

Cheri moves easily between the comical and the profound, taking her audiences along on the journey. Speaking from a place of comfortable vulnerability, she challenges her audiences to get rid of the restrictions they have placed on themselves. Restrictions such as perfection, those “shoulda-oughta”s, depression or the blues, and that nasty ol’ inner critic. She models how to find humor and insights on the way to true self appreciation, accepting the "flaws" as part of the perfection. With a boldness and sharp wit, she is funny yet poignant...think Erma Bombeck meets Anna Quindlen.

She is President of Whetstone Consultations, an organization that provides training and consultation services to organization in both the public and private sectors. In addition to speaking nationally, she has recently launched the “Solopreneur Woman”, a resource for coaching, etc for the woman in business.

She is also a very active member in the National Speakers Association and the National Speakers Association of the Carolinas.
